I created this table as an experiment in midcentury-modern furniture styles, as well as to give myself an opportunity to practice a variety of joinery styles.
The table is constructed from 3/4" Cherry wood with Tennessee Red Cedar legs, all finished with two coats of Tung oil.
Dovetail joints connect the sidewalls to the bottom of the table, and dado joints hold the top surface to the side walls. The legs are held in place with a mortise and tenon joint.
